Abstract
Morinda officinalis is an important traditional tonic herbal medicine. In the present study, we found that crude polysaccharides extracted from M. officinalis, named MO90, could significantly increase the bone mineral density (BMD) of the whole femur, distal femur, and proximal femur in ovariectomized (OVX) rats.
