Abstract
Guar gum succinate - sodium alginate (GGS-SA) beads cross-linked with barium ions were prepared and characterized as a pH sensitive carrier for colon-specific drug delivery. The structure of GGS-SA beads was confirmed by FT-IR spectroscopy.
