Abstract
Patients with vertebral fractures (VFx) have trabecular architectural disruption on iliac biopsies. Because cortical bone is an important determinant of bone strength, we assessed cortical and trabecular microarchitecture at peripheral sites in patients with VFx of varying number (N) and severity (S).
