Abstract
To the Editor: Primary hyperoxaluria type 1 (PH1) is associated with hepatic overproduction of oxalate. Kidneys gradually become unable to eliminate excess oxalate, leading to systemic oxalosis (SO) with deposits in organs.1 When kidney transplantation (KT) becomes necessary, this oxalate load can lead to oxalate nephropathy recurrence.
