Abstract
Phytochrome activity is not only controlled by light but also by post-translational modifications, e. g. phosphorylation. One of the phosphatases responsible for plant phytochrome dephosphorylation and thereby increased activity is the phytochrome-associated protein phosphatase 5 (PAPP5).
