Natural henequen fibers functionalized with a magnetic fatty acid mixture

Herein henequen fibers have been functionalized by coating with a mixture containing stearic acid and ferrofluid. The surface coating was done using a one step immersion method giving as a result fibers with a surface layer having a magnetic response.
