Abstract Peculiarities of the recoverable strain variation on cooling and heating under a stress was studied in the NiTi sample produced by wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM). The strain variation occurred in some stages due to the layers underwent the martensitic transformations at different temperatures. Abstract In this work, carbon coated-CuO-Cu2O composite on copper foam (C-CuO-Cu2O/CF) is synthesized by candle flame treatment and is evaluated as a photocathode of photoelectrochemical water splitting (PEC). The photocurrent density of C-CuO-Cu2O/CF electrode can reach -1.2 mA cm-2 (at 0 V vs. RHE), which is about 12 times higher than that of Cu2O/CF. Abstract Novel Co53.5-xNixCr20Fe10Re16.5 (x=18.5, 23.5, 28.5 and 33.5 at.%) multicomponent alloys (MCAs) with high temperature application potential are presented. Abstract A simple method combined combustion synthesis (CS) and melt dilution was utilized to fast fabricate Al3Ti/Al composites.
