Chitosan Coated Microparticles Enhance Simvastatin Colon Targeting and Pro-Apoptotic Activity

This work aimed at improving the targeting and cytotoxicity of simvastatin (SMV) against colon cancer cells. SMV was encapsulated in chitosan polymers, followed by eudragit S100 microparticles.
