Gastric pseudopolyposis formed after recovery from gastric gangrene
Abstract
A 54-year old Japanese woman was hospitalised due to septicemia and disseminated intravascular coagulation following severe infectious colitis. Computed tomography scanning revealed diffuse thickening of the gastric antrum (Fig. 1, arrowheads), as well as portal vein thrombosis (Fig. 1, arrow), ascites, and wall thickening of the ascending colon.
