Characterization of protein in cricket (Acheta domesticus), locust (Locusta migratoria), and silk worm pupae (Bombyx mori) insect powders

Nutritional and functional properties of protein were determined for cricket, locust, and silk worm pupae powders, specifically macro-nutrient proximate composition, full amino acid composition, protein pH-solubility, and SDS-PAGE/densitometry.
