Abstract
In the experiment, the aluminosilicate glasses with aluminum saturation index (ASI), defined as the Al 2 O 3 /(Na 2 O+K 2 O+2CaO), equal to 0.74, 1.72. 2.52, or 4.05 were synthesized. The spectroscopy tests (MIR and 27 Al MAS-NMR) confirm that in glass with ASI < 1, the aluminum ions occur in the [AlO 4 ] 5- only.
