Abstract
Acute sialadenitis is a rare adverse reaction to iodine-based contrast agents. Ultrasound (US) is usually the preferred imaging method to evaluate the salivary glands; along with clinical and anamnestic data, US allows the diagnosis of contrast-induced sialadenitis.
