Abstract
Novel circular hybrid structures with overlapped carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP), glass-fiber-reinforced plastic (GFRP) and/or aluminum layers were fabricated. Such structures were hybridized at the mesoscopic scale, generating multiple CFRP-GFRP or composite-aluminum interfaces.
