Endogenous Streptococcus mitis panophthalmitis in a patient visiting the Dominican Republic

A 67-year-old woman presented with painful, acute vision loss after 5 days of fever and muscle aches while visiting the Dominican Republic. She had no recent history of ocular surgery, dental work or recent trauma.
