Sustained dual release of ciprofloxacin and lidocaine from ionic exchange responding film based on alginate and hyaluronate for wound healing

This study presents a new antibiotic-anesthetic film (AA-film) based on natural polyelectrolytes ionically complexed with lidocaine and ciprofloxacin to manage pain associated with infected wounds.
