Abstract
Si/C composites with the addition of different amounts of nano-Si have been prepared by graphite loading nano-Si with an asphalt pyrolytic carbon layer on the surface. The first discharge capacity of the Si/C composite with addition of 5 wt.%. nano-Si in the precursor is 474.8 mAh g−1 and exhibits superior cycle performance with a capacity retention rate of 95.5% after 300 cycles.
