Abstract
In this paper, the properties of a catalyst that composed of magnetic nanoparticles and Pectin biopolymer that is widely found in nature (Fe 3 O 4 @Pectin) to support nickel (II) acetate are discussed, and this catalyst was then used in response to the synthesis of the precursor required for xanthene synthesis.
