Abstract
Here we report the biogenic synthesis of cupric oxide (CuO) nanoparticles (NPs) which were studied for their photocatalytic and antimicrobial activities. The fruit and leaf extracts of Tamarindus indica L. were used as reducing and capping agents. The influence of extract sources on the growth and properties of the nanostructures was studied.
