Cytotoxic androstane derivatives from Sarcococca ruscifolia

Sarcorusones A–D (1–4), four new androstane (C19-steroid) derivatives were characterized from Sarcococca ruscifolia along with five known compounds. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive MS and NMR spectroscopic analysis.
