Abstract
Lanthanides have been widely explored as optically active dopants in inorganic crystal lattices, which are often insulating in nature. Doping trivalent lanthanide (Ln 3+ ) into traditional semiconductor nanocrystals, such as CdSe, is challenging because of their tetrahedral coordination.
