Abstract
The influences of Mo contents on mechanical properties, biocorrosion and cytocompatibility of as-cast Mg–6Zn–8.16Y–2.02Mn–xMo (x = 0.0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 wt%) alloys were firstly investigated. Appropriate amount of Mo was conducive to grain refinement and the formation of long-period stacking ordered structure with continuous distribution, which was advantageous to mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
