Abstract

BACKGROUND:

Intrapulmonary percussive ventilation (IPV) is used for airway clearance and delivery of aerosol medications, including bronchodilators. Despite the common use of IPV for drug delivery, few data are available regarding optimization of inhalation therapy with IPV.
