Abstract
This study aims to synthesize and evaluate a new generation mucoadhesive polymer, 6-maleimidohexanoic acid-grafted chitosan; MHA-CS, for transmucosal drug delivery compared with a well-known mucoadhesive polymer, Cys-CS.
