Abstract
SVC(Static Var Compensator) is a shunt connected FACTS(Flexible AC Transmission System) controller consists of TCR(Thyristor Controlled Reactor), TSC(Thyristor Switched Capacitor) & filter elements for reactive power compensation. In this paper extended version of SVC representation by synchronizing the step down transformer reactance & overall SVC reactance.
