Abstract
Calabash and bottle gourd seed were analyzed for their proximate, mineral, and anti-nutritional composition using standard techniques. The calcium, zinc, and phytate interrelationship was computed. The results showed that calabash and bottle gourd seeds contained 4.0 g/100g moisture, 45.0 and 47.8 g/100g crude fat, 37.2 and 35.0 g/100g crude protein, and 8.1 and 7.3 g/100g carbohydrates, respectively.
