BackgroundThe phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase delta (PI3Kδ) inhibitor idelalisib has been shown to block downstream intracellular signaling, reduce the production of prosurvival chemokines and induce apoptosis in classical Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) cell lines.
