Abstract
Benzaldehyde‐terminated telechelic four‐armed polyethylene glycol (PEG‐BA) is synthesized and cross‐linked with carboxymethyl chitosan (CMC) to form dynamic hydrogels with strong mechanical performance. The gelation temperature and time, mechanical performance, and self‐healing behaviors are systematically investigated.
