Repair of truncus arteriosus in patients with prior banding of the pulmonary artery.

This is a review of the 25 patients with truncus arteriosus who have undergone corrective repair following prior banding of the pulmonary arteries. The early and late mortality rate was 20 percent, which has fallen to 6 percent for the most recent 17 operations.
