Abstract
One secoiridoid glycoside was isolated from the EtOAc-soluble fraction of flowers of Osmanthus fragrans var. aurantiacus by repeated silica gel, octadecyl silica gel (ODS) and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatographies. It was identified as (8E)-ligstroside based on spectroscopic methods including NMR and MS.
