Abstract
The present study was designed to investigate whether the amount of octacalcium phosphate (OCP) affects the characteristics of alginate (Alg)/OCP scaffolds regarding the pore formation and its distribution, and the thermodynamic stability from OCP to hydroxyapatite (HA) in an in vitro physiological environment.
