Anticholinergic therapy for airway diseases

Anticholinergics are commonly used in the treatment of airway diseases. While their effectiveness in chronic asthma offers no advantage over beta-agonists, evidence continues to accumulate suggesting substantial additional benefit in acute asthma attacks.
