Abstract
Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), diagnosed based on hyperandrogenism, ovulatory dysfunction, and polycystic ovaries, is one of the most common disorders of reproductive-aged females. Etiology includes both genetic and environmental/lifestyle factors contributing to both insulin resistance and hyperandrogenism.
