Abstract
The effects of doped bioactive glass (BG) on the structure and properties of sintered hydroxyapatite (HA) have been studied. The results showed that a calcination treatment at 900 °C increased the degree of crystallinity and the amount of hydroxyl group in HA, but resulted in the loss of a small amount of phosphorus.
