RESULTS. The prevalence of myopia, high myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism in Singapore adults aged over 40 years was 38.9% (95% confidence interval [CI] 37.1, 40.6); 8.4% (95% CI 8.0, 8.9); 31.5% (95% 30.5, 32.5); and 58.8% (95% CI 57.8, 59.9), respectively.
