COMPARATIVE ASSESSMENT OF NATURAL RADIONUCLIDE CONTENTS IN SOIL AND HOUSEHOLD WELL WATER COLLECTED FROM BIRNIN-GWARI LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF KADUNA STATE NIGERIA

The assessment of natural radioactivity in soil and water sample from different point in Birnin-Gwari local Government area of Kaduna state, Nigeria was measured by means of gamma-ray spectrometer with NaI(Tl) detector to establish a baseline data for activity concentration of 40K, 226Ra and 232Th.
