Cayron. [1] , [2] has sought to discredit our identification of a 9R structure of copper precipitates in iron. We responded to the first of these papers with a brief rebuttal [3] . Cayron however repeated his claim and has presented new arguments [2] which attempt to explain our electron microscopy images as due to Moiré fringes.
