Abstract
Water buffalo species belongs to genus Bubalus and involves the wild and the domestic types. Domestic water buffaloes are reclassified into river and swamp types. Here, we have reconstructed the phylogenetic relationship between members of water buffalo species based on mitogenome sequences.
