OC09.06: Ultrasound imaging of fibroids in pregnancy: NICHD Fetal Growth Studies – singletons cohort

Up to 60% of women may have fibroids by age 35, but there have been few longitudinal ultrasound (US) studies of fibroids in pregnancy. We imaged fibroids across pregnancy in a large cohort. Pregnant women (n=2774; 27% non-Hispanic (NH) white, 28% NH Black, 29% Hispanic, 17% Asian/Pacific Islander) had up to 6 study US in weeks 10-13 (V0), 15-23 (V1), 23-30 (V2), 29-34 (V3), 33-38 (V4), and 37-41 (V5).
