Abstract
The thermoelectric effect of the cement paste with the MnO2/carbon fiber composite inside was firstly reported in this work. The MnO2/carbon fiber composite was synthesized based on the redox reaction between potassium permanganate and carbon. After the reaction, α-MnO2 particles grew on the surface of carbon fiber.
