Abstract
In this paper, the superabsorbent polymer (SAP) was applied as internal curing agent to study its effect on the autogenous shrinkage and hydration property of alkali activated slag (AAS) pastes. Liquid absorption and release processes of SAP in AAS pastes were characterized by 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR).
