Abstract
Knema furfuracea is a tropical evergreen plant, which belongs to Myristicaceae family. Phytochemical investigation on the twigs and leaves of K. furfuracea led to the isolation of 11 phenolic compounds, including a new flavonoid knemavane A (1). These compounds belong to flavonoids, lignans, and anarardic acids.
