Abstract
The present study proposes an iterative algorithm to simulate nonhomogeneous non-Gaussian corrosion fields on buried oil and gas pipeline's external surfaces. The algorithm incorporates the concepts of the discrete orthonormal S-transform and the iterative amplitude adjusted Fourier transform algorithm.
