Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious-contagious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, also called Koch's bacilli. Its transmission occurs by airway, leading to alveoli immunological and inflammatory response (Fragoso et al., 2014). According to the World Health Organization (WHO), in 2019, the global TB prevalence was 10 million people, constituting the second major cause of death by an infectious agent. TB is a granulomatous disease related to bacterial inhalation with a delayed hypersensitivity response mediated by T lymphocytes.
