Abstract
The randomized ARTEMIS study demonstrates that adding the VEGF inhibitor bevacizumab to the EGFR inhibitor erlotinib improves progression-free survival in EGFR mutant non-small-cell lung cancer by more than 6 months, with even greater benefits seen in patients with brain metastases and EGFR L858R mutation.
