Characterization of mononeuropathy of the lateral cutaneous nerve of the calf

Introduction/Aims Isolated injuries to the lateral cutaneous nerve of the calf (LCNC) branch of the common peroneal nerve can cause obscure chronic posterolateral knee and upper calf pain and sensory symptoms.
