Abstract
Although ovarian vein thrombosis (OVT) is classically considered a puerperal pathology, it can also occur in nonpuerperal settings such as endometritis, pelvic inflammatory disease, Crohn’s disease, pelvic or gynaecological surgeries and thrombophilia.
