Abstract
In this paper, ultrahigh fuel utilization (>98%) in polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFCs) is numerically studied to investigate three aspects for this operation strategy: its effect on fuel cell performance, occurance of fuel starvation, and altered water management.
