Half-sandwich platinum group metal complexes containing coumarin-N-acylhydrazone hybrid ligands: Synthesis and biological evaluation studies

The reaction of metal precursors of the type [( p -cymene)RuCl 2 ] 2 and [Cp*MCl 2 ] 2 (M = Rh/Ir) with coumarin- N -acylhydrazone ligands ( L1 , L2 and L3 ) yielded neutral bidentate (N∩O) complexes ( 1 – 9 ).
