Anisotropic thermalization of dilute dipolar gases
Abstract
We study collisional rethermalization in ultracold dipolar thermal gases, made intricate by their anisotropic differential cross sections. Theoretical methods are provided to derive the number of collisions per rethermalization [Monroe et al., Phys. Rev.
