Abstract
Objectives This study investigated the prolonged diuretic and renal effects of 1,3,5,6- tetrahydroxyxanthone (THX) in rats. Methods Normotensive (NTR) and hypertensive rats (SHR) received orally the treatment with THX, hydrochlorothiazide or vehicle (VEH).
